A large slug; yellowish-grey or brown, spotted or striped with black; mantle spotted, with a fine fingerprint-like pattern of ridges; tentacles red-brown; keel only near the tip of the tail.

Etymology

Genus name Latin for "slug; the gender is masculine. Species epithet, Latin, "largest" (which isn't the case).
